Cabinet Knobs & Handles

Cabinet knobs and handles are the outside hardware that makes it easier for you to pull you cabinet doors open. Of course, some cabinet doors do not have a cabinet knob but that should be avoided. Having cabinet door handle hardware is easier on the lifespan of your doors.

There are two main types of cabinet knobs and handles. The knobs are similar to doorknobs and are often decorative. Handles are usually a recesses cabinet handles that is inset into the cabinet door.

A decorative hardware kitchen cabinet knob is functional but adds to the decor of the room as well. Animal lovers can find a dolphin cabinet knob, a cabinet deer doorknob, or cat cabinet knobs. They can be cute and make great conversation pieces. For the more traditional, a porcelain cabinet knob might be more to your liking. Porcelain knobs come in all different shapes and colors and often have their own designs. A lighthouse cabinet knob is a nice touch for someone that lives by the sea or has a seaside inspired decor. A cobalt blue cabinet knob adds a nice flash of color. If natural fabrics and metals inspire you, a rust hammered cabinet knob is attractive and unique. With the wide variety of shapes, sizes, designs, and colors available, choosing a cabinet knob may take some time but you'll be sure to find something that is reflective of your tastes and matches your Adducer.
Cabinet knob installation is not difficult and even people with only minor technical skills can follow the instructions for installing their hardware. Cabinet handle installation may require a little more help though, especially if you are using recessed handles. Cabinet knob placement should be on the lower corner and allow you to open your cabinet doors by pulling outwards.

Cabinet doors allow you to have functional cabinets but also allow you to give your rooms a distinct flair. Changing the knobs or handles is one of the simplest ways to make a kitchen or bathroom look fresh and new. In fact, if you are selling a house and cannot afford to put a lot of money into renovations, changing the cabinet knobs is an inexpensive way of upgrading the bathroom or the kitchen. It can give it a more modern appeal and thus make it more appealing for potential buyers.
